Summer College Flight Path

This summer, College Flight Path® is proud to reflect on what our team and our students have built together. Across our Tourist, Premium, and World Explorer packages, CFP families achieved more than 21X their investment in financial aid savings, merit scholarships, and strategic outcomes this admissions cycle. That number is the documented result of families who committed to the process with intention, engaged their appeals with precision, and trusted the guidance of a team that has done this work for over sixteen years. We are proud of everyone.

What drives this practice, however, is not the outcomes alone; it is the belief that every student, regardless of zip code or budget, deserves access to expert guidance. That is why College Flight Path® has invested deeply in free resources: community talks, working sessions, downloadable materials, live college planning content, and school-specific partnerships. This summer, we are honored to partner again with Conestoga High School to offer two dedicated week-long bootcamps for their rising seniors. We also open our public Summer Application Bootcamp to students everywhere (three sessions available in late June and July), where rising seniors will leave with a personal statement draft, polished activity descriptions, a completed resume, and a clear plan for the road ahead.

Our Work in Action

The following outcomes represent students and families who trusted the process, engaged the appeals, and arrived at Decision Day with options.

BOSTON UNIVERSITY

EARLY DECISION — FINANCIAL AID APPEAL

  • One family enrolled their student Early Decision to Boston University at a published cost of $97,000 per year. Through a documented financial aid appeal, CFP helped that family reduce their annual cost of attendance to $18,500 — a savings of $78,500 per year, and $314,000 over four years.

TULANE UNIVERSITY

EARLY ACTION — INTERNATIONAL STUDENT, MERIT AWARD

  • An international student pursuing an architecture degree applied Early Action to Tulane University and secured $59,000 in renewable merit aid across five years of undergraduate study. Strategic positioning and school list architecture made this outcome possible.

SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY

EARLY DECISION — MERIT APPEAL

  • A student who had already enrolled via Early Decision successfully pursued a merit aid appeal with CFP’s support, yielding an additional $10,000 in renewable savings per year — a four-year total of $40,000.

VIRGINIA TECH

ARMY ROTC SCHOLARSHIP — FULL AWARD APPEAL

  • A student appealed her Army ROTC scholarship from a half award to a full four-year scholarship, with all tuition covered. The upgrade also moved her book allowance of approximately $1,200 per academic year and a monthly stipend of $420 during the school year from sophomore year to freshman year — an outcome that meaningfully changed her financial foundation from day one on campus.

These stories are what happens when families enter the process with a plan, stay engaged through every phase, and work with a team that knows when and how to ask!

Three Days. A Complete Application Foundation.

College Flight Path® and Mr. SAT® are co-presenting the 3-Day Summer College Application Bootcamp — a high-impact program designed to give rising seniors clarity, confidence, and a head start before senior year begins. Students will leave with a personal statement draft, polished activity descriptions, a completed resume, a Common Application foundation, and a clear strategic plan for when and how to apply to the colleges on their list.

Build Your Professional Foundation This Summer

For students who completed internships, research, summer programs, or meaningful work this past year, the summer months are the most strategic window to document that experience before it fades. A well-constructed resume and a thoughtful LinkedIn profile are not just application tools, they are the foundation of a professional identity that will be evaluated by internship coordinators, employers, and graduate programs for years to come.

College Flight Path® offers one-on-one LinkedIn and resume sessions with Lynne Fuller, Founder and CEO, for students at the high school and college level. These sessions are designed to translate a client’s work into language that resonates in a professional context: specific, achievement-oriented, and positioned for what comes next.

Sessions are available on a limited basis throughout the summer.

Protecting Your Student Before They Leave Home

As families prepare for the transition to college, one of the most practical and frequently overlooked steps is establishing Power of Attorney documentation. Once a student turns eighteen, parents and guardians no longer have automatic legal authority to make healthcare or financial decisions on their behalf, even in an emergency. This gap exists regardless of where a student attends school or how close they live to home.

College Flight Path® is pleased to introduce our partnership with Mama Bear Legal Forms, whose Young Adult Power of Attorney package provides families with the healthcare and financial decision-making documents they need, completed efficiently and without the complexity of a traditional legal engagement.

We have negotiated an exclusive discount for the College Flight Path® community.

Be sure to apply the Discount Code: COLLEGEMAMA20 at checkout for 20% off the Mama Bear Legal Forms Young Adult POA Package. This is one of the most important documents you can complete before your student moves to campus.

We Grew Because Our Students Deserve More

This spring, College Flight Path® welcomed three exceptional professionals whose contributions have already transformed what we are able to offer every family we serve. Each hire was made with one standard in mind: how will this person make the student experience better?

Hattie Duplechain — Chief Operating Officer

Hattie joined CFP to build the operational infrastructure that ensures every student experience is consistent, well-coordinated, and grounded in best practices. Her work happens behind the scenes, and its effects show up in every interaction a family has with our practice.

Katie Williamson — Director of Business Development and Client Experience

Katie is the first voice most prospective families hear at College Flight Path® and the person responsible for ensuring every enrolled family has what they need throughout the process. She brings a genuine commitment to the relationships she builds and the families she serves.

Stacy Soricelli — Senior College Counselor

Stacy brings deep expertise in domestic college counseling and is a British Council certified UK counselor, making her CFP’s specialist for students pursuing United Kingdom university admissions, alongside or in place of domestic applications. Her addition to the team expands our capacity to serve the Class of 2027 and beyond with the time and attention every student deserves.
