Nov. 1 Early Action Deadline with Test-optional Benefits
With the summer/fall 2026 application now open, we strongly encourage students to apply by the November 1 Early Action deadline, which provides priority admission consideration to their top-choice program, campus, and start term. Early Action applicants can also receive non-binding admission offers as early as December. Most programs are eligible.
All required application items, including STARS (Self-reported Transcript and Academic Reporting System), formerly SRAR, and optional SAT or ACT scores, must be submitted by November 1 to be considered Early Action. Penn State’s test-optional program continues through Fall 2026 and applicants can now self-report test scores in the MyPennState Portal.
