| Beginning in the 2026 academic year, OSDIA will partner with the Swiss School of Management’s (SSM) Rome campus to extend two full tuition scholarships for their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will not only bring bright, young Italian Americans closer to their roots, but will also fosters future Italian-American leaders in the business field. The winners of these scholarships will receive a world class education in Italy’s capital. The partnership was first announced during the 2025 National Education and Leadership Awards (NELA) Gala on May 22, 2025, in Washington, D.C. In addition to its Rome campus, the SSM also has campuses in Milan and Brescia, allowing students a unique opportunity to study and network in Lombardy, OSDIA’s 2025 Region of Celebration and a growing hub of international business. Chancellor and Chairman of the SSM Milan-Brescia campus, Stefano Anzuinelli, spoke during the NELA Gala about this historic partnership, and how it intends to not just foster future leaders in business, but also to connect Italian Americans with their Italian roots. “We provide our students not just with the opportunity to study abroad, but with a calling to return and rediscover the land of their ancestors, and to bring back with them the tools to shape a better world,” he said during his remarks. Application details will be announced concurrently with the opening of Sons of Italy Foundation Scholarship applications, which are scheduled to open on October 13, 2025.
