Camden County College 2024/2025 Programming

CCC is excited to kick off another successful school year! The recruitment team has made a few program changes with our redesigned program Camden County College Kickoff. We are excited to work with you as we roll out this new program for the school year ahead.

Accuplacer Testing:

Accuplacer group testing will be hosted January through March. A signup sheet will be sent out to counselors to select the testing date for your school. All students participating in CCC Kickoff  will sign up for the Accuplacer using a link that will be provided to them directly (please see letter). Our staff will be communicating with the students to ensure they have signed up for the test. Counselors will be contacted for assistance if necessary during this process. A final list will be shared before the testing date. All students must have a completed Camden County College Application and Physical Photo ID ( this can be a school issued ID)!

On-site testing at our Blackwood campus will be available. The structure of the visit will be completely focused around completing the Accuplacer exam. Please advise your students to bring something to do once they complete the exam. Students will have access to purchase lunch at the cafeteria or are welcome to bring their own. On-site testing will be held from 9am-1pm.

High School Transcripts used as Testing Exemption:

High school transcripts can be used to determine placement for Math and English. To help determine if you are exempt from the Accuplacer exam, we will be requesting high school transcripts. We would like to have all interested students’ transcripts evaluated prior to the start of testing. Please request from your school counselor to have your transcript sent to Testing@camdencc.edu and Dan McMasters at dmcmasters@camdencc.edu.

More information on Accuplacer exemptions can be found here: https://www.camdencc.edu/admissions-financial-aid/testing-center/exemptions/

Registration Days

The last step of CCC Kickoff is the registration event which will still be held at our Blackwood location during the timeframe of April- June. Incoming students will have an opportunity to meet with admissions staff, academic advisors, financial aid counselors and other helpful support staff. Students will also receive a tour of the campus and have the opportunity to obtain their student ID and parking pass. This fast-paced, one-day event will assist your seniors with completing all of their enrollment steps so that they can leave registered in classes for the fall semester.

Transportation and lunch will be provided for this program. A sign-up genius for this event will be sent in the near future. During this time no students will able to test on campus.
