AAA South Jersey’s annual high school scholarship contest is here! Interested high school seniors should submit a brief essay to be considered by THE panel of judges for the $2,500 scholarship! Essays should be approximately 500 words. Every student who enters a qualified submission* will receive a free, one-year AAA Basic Student Membership.

Topic: For generations, AAA has been part of countless journeys. Travel isn’t just about reaching a destination; it’s about the stories we collect along the way. Think back to a trip that changed you—maybe a family vacation that brought you closer together, or a solo adventure that taught you something unexpected. Or imagine a future journey you dream of taking, one that could transform your perspective. In your essay, tell the story of that experience: what moments stand out, what lessons you discovered, and how it shaped — or could shape — the way you see the world.

Students should include the below application with their essay. Please make sure to print clearly. Essays and the application can be submitted at AAA.com/Scholarship or mailed to the address at the bottom of the application.

HARD COPIES OF THE APPLICATION CAN ALSO BE OBTAINED FROM MS. FORAND IN THE SCHOOL COUNSELING OFFICE BY MESSAGING HER ON TEAMS (GUIDANCE SECRETARY) OR SENDING AN EMAIL TO GUIDANCE@GCHSRAMS.ORG

*AAA South Jersey employees and their families are not eligible to participate. No purchase is required. Student does not need to be a AAA member to enter contest. Students with an existing membership will be credited for the cost of a basic membership. High school seniors residing in Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, or Salem Counties who plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or technical school are eligible to win a $2,500 scholarship. Submissions will not be accepted via email.
