Gloucester Catholic is proud to congratulate our Lady Rams basketball team on capturing the Non-Public B State Championship, marking the program’s 10th state title and its first since 1983. On March 12, the Lady Rams finished the job with a commanding 62–39 victory over Gill St. Bernard’s School at Rutgers University, showcasing resilience, determination, and true Ram pride on the biggest stage.
In a powerful full-circle moment, Head Coach Lisa Gedaka (formerly Lisa Angelotti), who won three state championships as a player in the early 1980s, led her alma mater back to the top after 37 years at the helm. After falling just short in last year’s championship game at Rutgers, the Lady Rams returned to the same stage with determination and finished the job, turning last year’s heartbreak into this year’s triumph. Great job, Ladies!
