The Concord Review History Camps

The Concord Review History Camps

Are you a high school student looking to improve your research and writing skills? The Concord Review (TCR) History Camps are intensive in-person and online workshops in which secondary-school students learn and practice a toolbox of skills needed to research and write a first-rate history paper.
These two week camps allow students the opportunity to work with experienced secondary school history instructors, and the average student to teacher ratio is 5:1. Students are given individualized sessions with instructors that further equip them to formulate productive research questions on a topic of choice, learn how to find quality sources and take effective notes, and how to then clearly convey their thoughts in writing.
More than 1,000 students have attended our camps since 2014 and some have then submitted and had their papers published in The Concord Review. More importantly, students leave the Camp with the confidence to further develop their critical thinking ability and academic writing skills, which will be of immense benefit to them with the work they will be expected to do in college and beyond.
We are now accepting applications for our 2026 Winter online and 2027 Summer in-person (Boston, Connecticut, San Francisco, and Vancouver) and online sessions.
