Where Are They Now? - Kevin Guidry '87

From Woodbury to a lifetime dedicated to leadership and service, Kevin Guidry exemplifies the values of resilience, compassion, and determination that define Gloucester Catholic alumni.

A proud member of the Class of 1987, Kevin continued his education at the United States Military Academy at West Point before also attending the Command and General Staff College and the Naval Postgraduate School.

His distinguished career has spanned military, federal, public, and private sector service, including roles as a U.S. Army officer, FBI agent, financial advisor, construction company general manager, and employee of the National Park Service.

Kevin’s commitment to helping others has remained constant throughout every chapter of his career. EMT qualified and currently pursuing his paramedic certification, he continues to expand his skills in service to others.

Today, Kevin is making a global impact through volunteer work in Ukraine, where he supports organizations providing humanitarian aid and medical assistance to those affected by the ongoing conflict, including efforts on the front lines.

Reflecting on his time at Gloucester Catholic, Kevin credits the school with helping shape both his character and his future.

“My GCHS schooling provided me with the tools and ethical framework to succeed,” Kevin shared. “I was challenged all four years, and that formed the resilience that serves me to this day.”

Kevin also offered advice for current Gloucester Catholic students as they prepare for their own futures:

“Maximize the opportunities that a small, close-knit learning community like GCHS can provide. Set your goals and work toward them. Goals can always be adjusted, but your foundation cannot. Push hard in high school. Gloucester Catholic will set you up for success!”

Gloucester Catholic is proud to celebrate Kevin’s accomplishments and grateful for the example of leadership and service he continues to provide around the world.
