REMINDER: Wilt Chamberlain Memorial Fund Scholarship

This is a friendly reminder that students have less than one month to apply for this year’s Wilt Chamberlain Memorial Fund Scholarship Application. As a reminder, this is a last-dollar scholarship program for high school seniors in the Greater Philadelphia Area with financial need to be used at a four-year college or university, two-year program, or trade school. In addition, students receive mentorship and development resources to help prepare them for life after graduation. Students have until April 22, 2025 to apply. 

Below are the minimum eligibility requirements: 

  • Plan to graduate from high school at the end of the 2024-25 academic year
  • Intend to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution beginning fall 2025
  • Earn a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above
  • Demonstrate significant unmet financial need
  • Family income must be $50,000 or less
  • Must reside in the Greater Philadelphia Area

    • Montgomery County, PA
    • Burlington County, NJ
    • Camden County, NJ
    • Gloucester County, NJ
  • Each award is intended to cover a share of the student’s educational expenses – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees. Awards vary by individual, based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships he or she may receive.
