Thank you for your interest in Gloucester Catholic High School!

Our goal is to make the Admissions process as smooth and easy as possible.

Most of the information you’ll need regarding the admissions process is contained on this website. If, however, we have left any of your questions unanswered, please don’t hesitate to call Mr. George Bakey in our Admissions Department at 856-456-4400, Ext. 227 (office) or email at gbakey@gchsrams.org.  He’ll be glad to discuss the process with you.


Checklist and Guidelines for Admission

1. Complete GCHS application and return via email or mail. Applications can be mailed to Gloucester Catholic High School: Attention Admissions 333 Ridgeway St. Gloucester City, NJ 08030, and emailed as a PDF file to abarron@gchsrams.org
2. Request that your records be sent to Gloucester Catholic High School.
3. Students are encouraged to visit. Become a Ram for a day!  (Please see the information below)
4. Register for the Scholarship Placement Exam. (8th graders). Must register by November 15 by emailing the Guidance Department at guidance@gchsrams.org

Test Dates
November 23rd: 8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.
December 7th: 8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.

5. January 2014: The GCHS Admissions Team awards acceptances to qualified applicants and these students and their elementary principals are notified by mail.
6.  February 2014: Notify Gloucester Catholic of your intention to enroll!
7.  Welcome to the Gloucester Catholic Family!

Registration Day is Saturday, February 22, 2014 9:00 a.m. to Noon.

Become a Ram for a Day!

Interested in Becoming a Ram for a day? Come visit GC to experience a first class academic and family atmosphere! These days are available to students starting September 23. If you would like additional information or to set up a date, contact Mr. George Bakey at 856-456-4400, Ext. 227, or email at gbakey@gchsrams.org.

 


Tuition and Costs

Senior High School Tuition (2013-2014 academic year):

FACTS tuition payment withdrawals begin August 5 or 20, and end May 5 or 20.

Full payment of tuition is payable to FACTS by August 5 or 20 (family may deduct 1% from tuition).

Tuition:

  • First Child – $8125.00
  • Senior — $8,325 (includes graduation fee)
  • Second Child (and each thereafter) – $7275.00

 

Other fees:

  • Registration Fee: Non-Refundable – $175.00 (Due February 22, 2014)

 

Junor High School Tuition (2013-2014 academic year):

FACTS tuition payment withdrawals begin August 5 or 20, and end May 5 or 20.

Full payment of tuition is payable to FACTS by August 5 or 20.

Tuition:

  • First Child – $4450 ($3950 if older sibling attends GC Senior High School)
    • $4,600 8th grade, includes graduation fee
    • $4,100 8th grade if older sibling attends GC, includes graduation fee

 

  • Second Child (and each thereafter) – $3650.00

Other fees:

  • Registration Fee: Non-Refunable –  $100.00 (Due February 22, 2014)

 

Registration for the 2014-2015 academic year will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2014 for incoming freshmen and in March for upperclassmen.


Financial Assistance

  • Tuition assistance applications will be available beginning October 15th. We encourage you to complete the application online.
  • Deadline for completing the application for the 2014-2015 school year will be on December 30, 2013. You will use your 2012 tax return and any updated information you have such as payroll stubs. As before, you may include supplemental information if your familly’s circumstances have changed.
  • Gloucester Catholic will notify you of your tuition assistance award by mid-February.
