Joseph M. Calabro

Joseph M. Calabro joined the Gloucester Catholic staff as Executive Director of Development in September 2016. He has worked in Development for over 17 years and held senior and leadership positions at Saint Joseph’s University, the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University. Prior, Joseph was an elementary educator at the Gesu School in Philadelphia, PA from 1992-1996 and a secondary educator at Merion Mercy Academy from 1997-2000.  A native of Philadelphia, Joseph graduated from Villanova University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.  He is a 1985 graduate of Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia.

 

Gus A. Ostrum

Gus A. Ostrum holds a BA in communications from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University. Gus has served as Director of Development at Gloucester Catholic since 2011 and also assists several local  community organizations, including the Adam Taliaferro Foundation and The Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame. He has more than 35 years of experience working as an editor and writer for newspapers and publishers in the Philadelphia region, most recently as a sports columnist for The Courier-Post and for South Jersey Sports Digest.

 

Katharine Coghlan

Katharine Coghlan is a 1968 GCHS alumna who received her BA degree from Glassboro State College. She coordinates public relations, marketing and government programs for Gloucester Catholic and is a past moderator of our Marian Chapter of the National Honor Society. Mrs. Coghlan, who also taught history, was the 2015 recipient of the John and Jackie O’Donnell Award, given annually to a GCHS graduate who demonstrates generous service to the Gloucester Catholic community. She also helps to organize one of the school’s largest annual fundraisers, the Gloucester Catholic Basket Auction.

 

Patrick Murphy

Patrick Murphy received a BA in Business Administration from Glassboro State College. A 1977 GCHS graduate, he serves as chair of the Business Department and has been a member of the faculty for more than 30 years. Mr. Murphy is the GCHS Athletic Director, serves as Director of Alumni Relations, and is our Special Services Coordinator. He represented South Jersey parochial schools as a member of the NJSIAA Executive Committee. He is a member of the Al Carino South Jersey Basketball Hall of Fame.
