Father Kevin J. Mohan Named Director of Catholic Identity at Gloucester Catholic

Father Kevin J. Mohan has been appointed Director of Catholic Identity at Gloucester Catholic Junior Senior IMGP0833High School by Bishop Dennis Sullivan. He will be In-Residence at Saint Mary Parish in Gloucester City.

Father Mohan is one of the Camden Diocese’s newest priests, having been ordained May 18, 2013, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Camden. Since ordination he has been serving as parochial vicar at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Williamstown.

He is a graduate of Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill; Saint Charles Seminary, Overbrook, Pa.; Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio; and Saint Mary’s Seminary and University, Baltimore. His studies also included a summer in Mexico and a pastoral year at Saint Joseph’s Pro-Cathedral, Camden.

Bishop Sullivan created the position of Director of Catholic Identity, envisioning priests serving as “pastors” in diocesan high schools, teaching religion, leading school liturgical celebrations, encouraging vocations, and serving as a spiritual resource for students, faculty and staff.
