Catholic at the end of the year to serve as Principal at Saint Joseph’s High School in Hammonton, NJ. A prayer service, including a video tribute, was held in the GCHS gymnasium as students and faculty members congratulated Father Caparas, a beloved figure here GCHS since 2013. His new assignment becomes effective on July 1, 2016.

“Mr. Colman and I want to thank Fr. Caparas for his selfless service to our students and the Gloucester Catholic community over the last three years,” Principal Ed Beckett wrote in a letter to parents, students and alumni. “The impact he has had on the hundreds of students he served, as well as their families and the wider community, is incalculable.”
The Gloucester Catholic administration, faculty, staff and student body congratulated Father Caparas and wished him well in his new assignment. There are plans for a celebration at the end of the school year.
