Father Allain Caparas celebrated the Ash Wednesday liturgy and the beginning of Lent with Gloucester Catholic students, faculty and administrators on February 18 in the GCHS gymnasium.
Father Caparas stated this year’s Lenten Challenge as doing something positive in the areas of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. He asked our students and faculty to continue refraining from gossip and limiting the use of social media to necessary communications.
Mr. Ed Beckett, Principal, also addressed students and faculty prior to the Ash Wednesday liturgy.
