GCHS to Host SAT Prep Program

Once again, we will be hosting an SAT Prep program at Gloucester Catholic in the late winter/early spring in preparation for the May 4th SAT test date at GC. The course will be taught by Mr. Walt Kruc. Mr. Kruc has worked with many of our students in a private setting and has had great success overall. This is a strategy-based course which will teach your child how to best attack the SAT test in each of the three areas: Critical Reading, Writing and Math. This is not a content-based course where students will be tutored in any of the areas. Rather, they will learn specific techniques to help them best answer the questions in a timely fashion utilizing the tips learned during the course.
There will be 10 sessions. Students will meet every Monday beginning on February 4th and concluding on April 22nd. Each session will take place from 3:00pm-5:00pm and a GC faculty member will always be on site. A few weeks were left to account for any possible weather cancellations, and the course will not meet on 2/18/13 (President’s Day) or 4/1/13 (Easter Monday). The course has a fee of $500.00 and checks can be made payable to Gloucester Catholic High School.
