Gloucester Catholic Mourns the Passing of Geraldine Murphy ’54

The Gloucester Catholic Family mourns the loss of Geraldine (Gerry) Hagan Murphy ’54 on Saturday evening, August 18, 2012.

The loving wife of former GCHS football coach Joe Murphy and devoted mother of Michael (Patti), Christopher (Tricia), Maureen Smith (Brian), Brian (Linda), Karen Kelly (Joe), Joanne (Sam) and the late Joseph Francis, Gerry was a proud Gloucester Catholic graduate.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday evening and from 8:15 to 9:15 am Thursday morning at Gardner Funeral Home, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ.

Funeral Mass will be helld 10 am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa’s RC Church in Runnemede..Interment will be at New St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gloucester Catholic High School Alumni, 333 Ridgeway Street, Gloucester City, NJ 08030 or Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
