Liz Glassman ’10, new GCHS girls lacrosse coach

Former standout athlete and assistant coach Liz Glassman has been selected as Gloucester Catholic’s new girls’ lacrosse coach, it was announced by GCHS Athletic Director Pat Murphy.

Glassman, a 2010 GCHS graduate, has served as assistant coach of the Lady Rams’ program for three of the past four seasons. She was a former standout lacrosse player at Widener University for four seasons, earning her BA degree as well as a spot on the Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll.

In addition she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Widener University in May 2017, and is excited to take on her new post as a head coach.

“I have found a new love for the sport and have been able to guide student athletes on and off the field,” said Glassman. “I feel that my background in lacrosse and physical therapy will allow me to train the students to be hard-working, dedicated and winning student athletes. I will add the perfect dynamic to this team!

Glassman teaches science at Gloucester Catholic High School and previously worked as a physical therapist at local Delaware Valley facilities.
