Lacrosse Star Sean Beers Commits to Cabrini University!

IMGP2367Gloucester Catholic lacrosse star Sean Beers has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Cabrini University next year!

Sean has enjoyed a torrid offensive career in his position as an attack. As a junior, he tied for the Olympic Conference lead in goals scored with 57. His 26 assists were seventh in the conference, which meant his combined point total of 83 was third best in the Olympic. For his talent and his role as a fearless leader on the area’s most successful team, Beers was named the Times Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year for 2018.

Sean’s 57 goals equaled his total from 2017, when he was area all-star. He scored three or more goals in nine of the Rams’ 15 games and had three or more assists on six different occasions.

His 26 assists, however, marked an almost 75 percent increase from his freshman and sophomore season totals of 12 and 15, respectively.

As a result, Sean will pursue his academic and lacrosse careers at the Cabrini University next year. Congratulations Sean!
