GCHS Presents Production of Mean Girls From Feb. 23-25: Salute to George Batavick ’66

Get ready for the Gloucester Catholic theater production of ‘Mean Girls’ taking place on February 23, 24, and 25th at Deptford Theatrical Productions in Westville.

This year, GC would like to salute Mr. George Batavick ’66 for his generous sponsorship of this year’s production. Mr. Batavick, who played one of the lead roles in his own school play ‘The King and I’, recalled his own personal experience with fond memories.

“’The King and I’ was an extraordinary experience,” said Mr. Batavick. “Playing the role of ‘The King’ was both extremely challenging and rewarding. With my fellow classmates, we created a memorable rendition of this ageless Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. I wish all GC students could have the same wonderful experience in the Arts our Class had. And all the best to the cast of this year’s ‘Mean Girls” musical’.”

To purchase your tickets for GC’s ‘Mean Girls’ production, please contact Ms. Amy Pinardo at apinardo@gchsrams.org. Watch for additional info on the school play over the coming weeks!
