Applications now open for Rowan’s 2024 Think Like an Entrepreneur Summer Academy!

Students please consider applying to the 2024 Think Like an Entrepreneur Summer Academy at Rowan University. Applications are now being accepted!

The Think Like an Entrepreneur Summer Academy is a four-day, non-residential, educational experience for rising high school juniors and seniors entering the 2024-2025 academic year run by the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Rohrer College of Business. The Academy is held in person on Rowan University’s campus in Glassboro, NJ, and runs Monday, June 24 – Thursday, June 27, from 9AM-2:30PM.

Thanks to the generous support of the TD Charitable Foundation, participation in the academy is free and all students who successfully complete the program will earn 3 college credits, equivalent to 1 college course, which can be used at Rowan University or transferred to another university.

Regardless of intended major, we believe that all future business students, and the organizations that will eventually employ them, benefit from the type of creative mindset, hard work, and initiative that power startups. The program focuses on the development of soft skills – including fostering of an entrepreneurial mindset – and on the development of specific entrepreneurial knowledge and expertise. Academy participants gain the knowledge, mentors, and experiential applications needed to conceive, develop, prototype, and sell their ideas. Check out how our high schoolers learn to think like an entrepreneur at the Academy, here

Space is extremely limited. Applications are due by 11:59pm on June 2nd, but apply by 11:59pm on May 24th for priority consideration. Acceptance notifications will be sent via email by June 4th. Eligible applicants must live in the United States and be either a high school junior or senior during the 2024-2025 academic year.

Penn State Undergraduate Admissions [admissions@psu.edu]

Did you know only 1 of 4 current seniors have submitted their 2024-25 Free Application of Student Aid (FAFSA) nationwide? That’s 38% lower than this time last academic year.
Filling out the FAFSA is the best way to be considered for the maximum amount of financial aid, regardless of final college choice.
Don’t forget! Penn State’s school code is 003329.
Submit the FAFSA
We know you might have heard the FAFSA was encountering some delays. Right now, those issues have been resolved, and it’s time to act! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to visit the Office of Student Aid website or contact their office.

Office of Admissions

May 15TH is PENN STATE’S Offer Acceptance Deadline.

Penn State will extend its offer acceptance deadline from May 1 to May 15, 2024, for incoming first-year students enrolling in the summer or fall 2024 terms.
The extension comes after the U.S. Department of Education announced that colleges and universities will receive 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) data from applicants in the first half of March. This delay will ultimately result in students receiving their financial aid offers from the University later than usual this year.
The Undergraduate Admissions Office and Office of Student Aid hope to provide prospective students and their supporters with additional time to consider the cost of attendance amidst delayed aid awarding timelines.
Incoming students can take advantage of the extended deadline to explore Penn State’s extensive offerings and ask any questions necessary to make an informed decision about their college choice.?Students ready to commit to Penn State are encouraged to accept their offer of admission on the MyPennState portal as soon as they are ready to take their next steps.
If you are seeking more information about financial aid, visit the Office of Student Aid website.
