Chris passed away in March of 2018 afer a tough battle with breast cancer. She was a committed Catholic and a devoted member of Gloucester Catholic family for over 12 years. During that time she took on numerous roles, including teacher, librarian, yearbook moderator, forensic coach, as well as a myriad of other tasks. Chris also enjoyed volunteering her time as a catechist for the St. John of God Faith Formation Program and playing music at church services.
We started this scholarship program as a way to memorialize the life of our mom and to continue her commitment to serving others. Last year was a rough year for everyone dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, yet we were still able to donate three $1,000 scholarships thanks to the participation, suppport, and donations from everyone over the past few years.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make our outings such a success and for your continued support.
