The Class of 1970 will be holding their 50th (51st) reunion on November 19th, 2021 at Riverwinds Restaurant in West Deptford, NJ.

Class of 1959 Holds Reunion
The Class of 1959 had an informal reunion at Riverwinds Country Club in August 2021. The participants were: Terry (Holland) Ely, Pat Sully, Kass Reed, Maureen (Hess) Sully, Rich McConnell, Sue (Batten) McConnell, Mark McElwee, Mike Andreas, Dolores (Arena) Gentile, Sandra (Hyslop) Andreas, Regina (Murphy) Saquella, Ralph Saquella and Phil Gentile.

Liz Glassman Named Gloucester Catholic Girls Lacrosse Coach
Liz Glassman ’10, new GCHS girls lacrosse coach
Former standout athlete and assistant coach Liz Glassman has been selected as Gloucester Catholic’s new girls’ lacrosse coach, it was announced by GCHS Athletic Director Pat Murphy.
Glassman, a 2010 GCHS graduate, has served as assistant coach of the Lady Rams’ program for three of the past four seasons. She was a former standout lacrosse player at Widener University for four seasons, earning her BA degree as well as a spot on the Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll.
In addition she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Widener University in May 2017, and is excited to take on her new post as a head coach.
“I have found a new love for the sport and have been able to guide student athletes on and off the field,” said Glassman. “I feel that my background in lacrosse and physical therapy will allow me to train the students to be hard-working, dedicated and winning student athletes. I will add the perfect dynamic to this team!
Glassman teaches science at Gloucester Catholic High School and previously worked as a physical therapist at local Delaware Valley facilities.

Alumni and friends of Gloucester Catholic High School were honored on Sunday, November 18, during the Annual 
Communion Breakfast at GCHS.

Trish McNutt Green Inducted Into Camden County Sports Hall of Fame
Trish McNutt Green, a 1982 GCHS graduate who has been part of seven state championship girls basketball teams as both a player and coach, was inducted into the Camden County Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday, October 25, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill.
Trish played for Gloucester Catholic from 1978 to 1982. She was the starting point guard on two Group I state championship teams. Driven to make her teams succeed, Trish was an exceptional leader and demonstrated unselfish play at all times. Although she had very talented players around her, her style of play made them better. Players such as Mary Klinewski, Michele Jensen and Lisa Angelotti all enjoyed enhanced careers due to the point guard skills that Trish possessed.
Trish was known for her scoring but for her amazing court vision that enabled her to feed passes to teammates for wide-open layups and jump shots. She could score when called upon — she was the leading scorer in her final game in winning the 1982 Group I state championship against Morris Catholic.
The Courier-Post named Trish as the South Jersey Player of the year for the 1981/1982 season. She accepted a scholarship to Fresno State University due to her excellent play and accomplishments at the high school level. Unfortunately, her college career ended too soon with a devastating knee injury.
Trish is also the most successful girl’s basketball coach in South Jersey history. As head coach, she won five state championships at Haddonfield Memorial High School – 1993, 1994, 1997, 1998, and 1999. No other girls coach in SJ history has won five state championships.
Class of 1968 Holds 50th Anniversary Reunion at Terra Nova Restaurant
The Gloucester Catholic Class of 1968 celebrated their 50th Anniversary reunion on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Terra Nova Restaurant in Sewell, NJ. Approximately 78 class members and 135 total guests attended the Golden anniversary reunion.
GCHS Principal Ed Beckett congratulated all classmates on their lifetime of achievements and their dedication to Gloucester Catholic.
A special thank you to Pat Kenney and his committee for organizing the evening’s events.
Gloucester Catholic Alum Brian Golden Is Guest Speaker During Annual Honors Banquet
Mr. Brian Golden ’08 served as guest speaker during Gloucester Catholic’s 29th Annual Honirs Banquet at Masso’s

Brian earned Cum Laude honors and a Bachelors of Science in Business, with a minor in Accounting, at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Maryland in 2012.
He currently is employed by the Department of Homeland Security.
Brian encouraged all honors students to pursue their academic and professional dreams and to use Gloucester Catholic as a stepping stone.
“Gloucester Catholic’s academic and learning environment were perfect for me,” he said. “I was encouraged to pursue my dreams, and I had the confidence and academic support to move forward with my college and career choices.”
22nd Annual Fr. Sullivan Golf Tournament Set for June 18 at Pitman Golf Club
The 22nd Annual Father Sullivan Golf Tournament will be held at the Pitman Golf Club on Monday, June 18th. Registration will begin at 12 noon. A putting contest will precede the 1:30 shotgun start.This golf tournament is named for Rev. John Sullivan who spent over twenty years of his life serving the Gloucester Catholic community. “Sully” was a friend to all who came in contact with him. We name the tournament in his honor to carry on the spirit of commitment that he gave to Gloucester Catholic.
