Mackenzie is one of the bright spots of the Class of 2022. A product of Mary Volz school, she currently holds acceptances from TCNJ and Rowan and is awaiting decisions from Notre Dame, Lafayette, and Saint Joseph’s. Mackenzie hopes to major in Math and go to medical school to become a radiologist. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Tom Flynn because he always has time to talk and has taught everyone many life lessons over the years. Mackenzie feels Gloucester Catholic set her up for future successes by “giving me a challenging workload and setting high expectations for me, especially in my AP courses.”
Dear Gloucester Catholic Alumni, Parents, and Friends,
I hope this message finds you healthy, happy and safe as we approach this holiday season. Christmas is a time for love, family, and giving. These last two years have had unprecedented and widespread impact on households worldwide, including our fellow Rams Community. This Christmas Season, however, I see hope, kindness, and inspiration all around us. Within our Gloucester Catholic Family, I have seen so many acts of kindness over the last few years; from an individual reaching out to help a family who lost their job, to one family supporting a friend while they battled illness, to an entire community rallying around others after a natural disaster. Our Gloucester Catholic Family has always helped raise each other up. When you are a Gloucester Catholic Alum, you are never alone.
What better time of year than this Christmas season for our family to once again come together to help one another. Our school community continues to be impacted financially in ways that are unimaginable. Here at Gloucester Catholic, we are committed to serving all our families through their difficult times, but we need your help.
During this joyous season, as we close the door on another year, I ask each one of you to make Gloucester Catholic your most important charitable endeavor. Our donation procedure is simple, and allows supporters to donate online or by mail. Your generosity has an impact that you cannot even imagine. Every student here at GC benefits in some way by the giving power of our GC Family. I thank each and every one of you for your support and wish you and your families a joyous and blessed Christmas season.
Every gift makes a difference; I hope that you will consider making a gift to our RAM FUND this holiday season. ONCE A RAM, ALWAYS A RAM!
Merry Christmas & Thank You,
Tom Iacovone, Jr. Principal

Because of positive alumni engagement, Gloucester Catholic can offer a select number of “named” scholarships on an annual basis to deserving students. A number of these scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate financial need. At Gloucester Catholic, we are committed to finding ways to make our school affordable and accessible to deserving students who, without scholarship support, would not be able to enroll. In addition, there are scholarships awarded on an annual basis that are merit focused. Merit scholars are students who are considered for their ability to strengthen all aspects of the Gloucester Catholic community and make the most of their Gloucester Catholic experience. These merit scholarships are open to all students, regardless of financial need.

2. All students who take the HSPT (High School Placement Test) and submit all necessary application materials will be eligible for available scholarships.

Chris passed away in March of 2018 afer a tough battle with breast cancer. She was a committed Catholic and a devoted member of Gloucester Catholic family for over 12 years. During that time she took on numerous roles, including teacher, librarian, yearbook moderator, forensic coach, as well as a myriad of other tasks. Chris also enjoyed volunteering her time as a catechist for the St. John of God Faith Formation Program and playing music at church services.
We started this scholarship program as a way to memorialize the life of our mom and to continue her commitment to serving others. Last year was a rough year for everyone dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, yet we were still able to donate three $1,000 scholarships thanks to the participation, suppport, and donations from everyone over the past few years.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make our outings such a success and for your continued support.
